Day in pain

Today I was still in a lot of pain from the HSG yesterday. I did a bunch of research on that test. I checked out several different posts and comments women have said about having them done. It seems that there are several women who have become pregnant soon after having the HSG done. Even though this is not clinically proven to help, it gives me more hope.
I also realized that looking at some of these pages that I’m pretty lucky for what I haven’t had to go through. Some of these women have had miscarriage after miscarriage. I couldn’t image having to go through that heart break. My heart goes out to anybody that has had to experience that. Just reading some of the emotions that these women go through is heart wrenching.
On a plus note my weight is still going down. So far I have lost 18 pounds in 3 weeks (still have a ways to go to reach my goal). This was done by calorie counting, watching what we eat, and exercising. So I’m feeling pretty good about that. But it’s hard once you get in the groove of working out or being active and all of a sudden you can’t. There is no way today that I can do anything like that. Heck I can barely walk.

  2. Dear Mrs Schmidts, Thank-you for your comment on my blog, and welcome to the IF fertility. I was so sorry to hear about your horrible HSG, I hope that the pain has now subsided.

I hope you get some answers soon and can start a plan of attack to get pregnant.
